Please read this carefully BEFORE BOOKING!

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your deposit will count towards the total cost. Outstanding balance is due in cash/e-transfer/credit card at the initial appointment. ALL bookings are final and total fees are non-refundable.

Covid-19 Vaccines

All permanent makeup appointment should be scheduled 10 days AFTER you received your Covid-19 vaccine. Your appointment will be rescheduled if it falls within the 10 days post vaccine period.

Qualifications

Permanent makeup procedure(s) will NOT be performed on you if any of the following condition(s) applies to you:

  • You are under 18 years old.

  • You are a diabetic.

  • You have blood borne communicable disease such as HIV or hepatitis.

  • You are pregnant/breastfeeding.

  • You have a major heart problem or you use a pacemaker.

  • You are undergoing a treatment such as chemotherapy.

  • You have a severe skin condition, such as eczema, rashes, skin cancer, psoriasis.

  • You are pronged to getting extreme scarring or keloid skin type.

  • You are allergic or sensitive to any metals, lidocaine, or atopical numbing agents.

  • You take blood thinner on regular basis.

  • You have several thyroid disorders.

  • You previously had episodes of epilepsy or seizures. 

  • You have low level of iron or anemic.

  • You have uncontrolled blood pressure.

  • You have a weak immune system.

  • You are sick with flu or cold. 

  • You are on Accutane in the last 12 months. 

  • Eyelid surgery done in the last 12 months [For Eyeliner Clients]

  • You have monolids [For Eyeliner Clients]

Note: It is important that you communicate any medical conditions to the artist who will be performing the procedure for you. If you have any serious medical conditions, please consult with your family physician prior to proceeding with booking.

Appointment Preparation

Please be advised that not following pre-care information may impact your healing results. 

  • No alcohol/caffeine consumption 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment. Alcohol consumption will increase your level of sensitivity to pain regardless of numbing application. It will also increase your likelihood of swelling post procedure.

  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure. 

  • Do not work out 24 hours prior to procedure. 

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin e or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to procedure.  

  • Stop taking Omega 3/fish oil 1 week prior to procedure.

  • No eyebrow waxing or tinting one week prior to procedure. [For Eyebrow Clients]

  • Refrain from using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area two weeks prior to and two weeks after your procedure. Check your moisturizer, face wash,  BB or CC creams and makeup primers for anything that says acid. 

  • Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels and Retin-A 4 weeks prior. 

  • No botox 4 weeks around the eyes and brows area.

  • No microneeding or any forms of medical facials 2 weeks prior to the procedure.

  • Must be off Accutane for 1 year prior to scheduled appointment.

  • Please note that you will feel more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

  • No Marijuana 72 hours prior to procedure.

  • Avoid eyelash growth serum 12 months prior to scheduled procedure. [For Eyeliner Clients]

  • Eyelash extensions must be removed prior.  [For Eyeliner Clients]
    - Avoid eyelash perm & tinting at least 4 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment. [For Eyeliner Clients]
    - Do not wear contact lenses to the appointment. Bring your glasses! [For Eyeliner Clients]

  • Moisturize the lips with vasaline 1 week prior to the procedure [For Lip Blush Clients]

  • If you are pronged to getting cold sores, please email info@muniquebrows.com for further Pre-Care instructions. [For Lip Blush Clients]

  • No Filler or botox on the lips 4 weeks prior to the lip treatment. [For Lip Blush Clients]

Appointment Confirmation 

An email confirmation along with location address will be sent upon receipt of deposit. An email reminder message will be sent to you 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Cancellation or Rescheduling 

There is no cancellation to appointments booked. If you wish to reschedule your appointment, please inform us 2 weeks in advance. A rescheduling fee of $60 + HST applies to any rescheduling within 1 week prior to the scheduled appointment. Please ensure you double check your availability prior to confirming the appointment time. If you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment then you will forfeit your deposit. The only exception to appointment rescheduling without a fee is when there is a pandemic lockdown.

Touch Up Rescheduling 

A rescheduling fee of $60 + HST applies if you need to change your touch up appointment to another date. This rescheduling fee is waived if there is a pandemic lockdown that is mandated by the Government.

Punctuality 

Please respect everyone’s time by arriving on time to your appointment. If you are late by more than 15 minutes or do not show up, Munique Brows reserve the right to refuse service and you will forfeit your deposit. Should you have an emergency, please be sure to contact your Permanent Makeup Artist at Munique Brows Studio as soon as possible.

 

Touch Up Appointment 

Complimentary Touch Up

Your complimentary touch up appointment is included in the price you paid. It is your responsibility to book your touch up appointment. Please use our online booking system to schedule your complimentary touch up session within 6-12 weeks from your initial session date. If the complimentary touch up is not booked within 6-12 weeks, the appointment will be deemed as a second touch up and the fee of second touch up applies.

 

Second Touch Up

If you happen to have oily skin, a second touch up may be required due to skin not retaining pigment properly from the initial and touch up appointment. For clients who are more pronged to moderate bleeding during the procedure, a second touch up may be necessary due to blood diluting pigment--causing lower colour retention. Some brow correction cases may require a second touch up. The cost to second touch up is $200 + HST (Master Permanent MakeupArtist Mei Z.) OR $150 + HST (Junior Brow Artist) OR $100 + HST (Apprentice Brow Artist) —procedure must be done within 6-12 weeks from the complimentary touch up.

No show or cancellation within 48 hours will result a service fee of $60 + HST for rebooking the Touch Up.

Previous Permanent Eyebrows / Eyeliner / Lip Blush Tattoo

If your eyebrows or eyeliner were previously tattooed, it is considered to be Corrective or Cover up work. Please note that not all old eyebrow or eyeliner tattoos are workable. Prior to appointment booking, please email us your current brow or liner photos to info@muniquebrows.com for review. Photos must be clear and taken during daylight.
