FAQs For Permanent Makeup Brow

(Microblading, 4D Combo Brows, Ombré Brows)

What is Microblading?

It is a form of cosmetic tattoo artistry in which manual handheld tools are used to implant pigments under your skin. The handheld tool is used to draw hair-like strokes that resemble a lot with natural hairs within your brows. This technique is considered perfect for anyone that wants natural looking eyebrows by correcting symmetry with sparse or thin eyebrows.

For a microblading procedure, an outline is drawn on the natural brow lines which help in defining where strokes from the handheld tool will be applied. After the outline is drawn, the area of treatment is numbed with the help of the numbing solution. The procedure starts after the area is fully numbed. This helps in ensuring you don’t feel pain during the treatment. The treatment can take 2.5 to 3.5 hours.

It is considered suitable for skin types that range from dry to mild combination, but it is not recommended to anyone that has oily skin.

What is Microshading or Ombré Brows?

It is considered a perfect brow option for people that have sensitive or oily skin. It is a semi-permanent makeup procedure in which pigments are added into the top layers of skin with a manual handheld or digital tool. The pigments are implanted in the epidermis of the skin to create misty, power-filled brows that look similar to eyebrow powder. Microshading is quite similar to microblading but with little tweaks in the technique. For instance, Instead of hair like strokes which are used in microblading, this technique uses tiny dots of pigment to create a much softer gradient of color.

With microshading, each area within the brows is sprayed or airbrushed with pigments. Hence, the result would resemble soft translucent powder under the brow hair. Overall, microshading is a really effective solution to make your current hair appears fuller.

What is Nano Brows?

Nano brow hairstrokes is an integrated version of microblading without incisions. The hairstrokes are implanted onto the surface layer of skin using a machine pen with single disposal needle(s). The hairstroke patterns are designed according to the client’s natural brows and will blend into the nautral brows when healed. Typically, nano hairstrokes heals soft and nautral. This style of brows is suitable for most skin types.

What is the difference between Nano Combo Brows and 4D Nano Combo Brows?

Nano combo brows is combining powder shading and nano hairstroke techniques to create a set of beautiful brows for our clients. Nano Combo Brows consists of nano hairstrokes placed at the inner brow and powder shading throughout the rest of the brows. This style is great for clients with their nautral brow hair grown further apart at the inner brow. The powder shading will give the brows a soft and defined appearance.

4D Nano Combo Brows consists of nano hairstrokes placed throughout the entire brows and powder shading will be softly added in between the hair strokes to give dimension. This style of brows give hyper-realistic eyebrow hairstyle appearance while adding fullness to the natural brows. However, there is less focus on giving the brows definition as it’s meant to heal ultra natural.

Can I resume back to working out after the brow procedure?

You should not work out right after the brow appointment. Exercising opens up the sweat glens and pore sizes. The reason for this is that sweat flushes out your pores, eliminating dirt and debris. You should be washing your entire face post-workout to clean off the dirt or debris on your face. When your brows are freshly done, it is important for clients to reduce exposure to water on the healing site to prevent infection. Sweating excessively will also prolong the healing process and reducing retention.
